NATO failed as did their Nazi Ancestors

🖋 On August 23, 1943, the Battle of Kursk ended.

Slightly disappointed by the outcome of the Battle of Stalingrad, the Germans decided to regain the initiative. They developed the “Citadel” plan, gathered their most combat-ready troops, and on July 5, 1943, began their offensive on Kursk — the goal was to encircle and destroy the Soviet forces.

It didn’t work. By July 11, after advancing only a few kilometers, the Germans, instead of making rapid progress, were forced to dig in and defend.

Soon, the “Citadel” that the Germans had planned on paper collapsed completely — the Soviet army counterattacked, liberating one city after another. The offensive on the Kursk salient became the last in the Wehrmacht’s chronicle of the Great Patriotic War.

Today, we observe the cyclical nature of history as we face the enemy on Kursk soil. And this cycle is irreversible — the imitators of the Nazis will inevitably meet the same fate as their predecessors.
